📊 Hackathon Continuation Program Report

Over the past 6 months, the Arbitrum Hackathon Continuation Program supported 4 ventures through customer validation, advancing 2 to MVP development. The pilot produced one revenue-generating project (FairAI) and one user-acquiring venture (Contribo), while surfacing critical insights on talent attraction, program design, and venture support.

Last week, we published the report on the Arbitrum Forum. It outlines outcomes, learnings, and recommendations for future pilots to strengthen Arbitrum’s venture-building capabilities.

CONTRIBO

In the previous week, Contribo’s focus was on several fronts:

  1. Finalizing the gig modularization concept by breaking down projects into time-bounded modules so contributors can pick them up without blocking progress. They also explored mechanisms to reopen modules if applicants don’t commit.
  2. Holding conversations with the first gig applicant to understand what developers would value, as well as ways to improve the current state of contribo.xyz.
  3. Continuing outreach to founders to better understand their hiring challenges and creating a strategy for an improved version of Contribo's Pilot, based on the feedback they received.

Fair AI

Participate in K 2025

Fair AI is moving forward with its plans to attend K 2025 in October, the world’s leading trade fair for plastics and rubber. This decision reflects the team’s focus on high-impact manufacturing events that help them build industry connections and position the company where innovation is happening. By committing to K 2025, Fair AI is aligning its presence with its priorities and setting the stage to grow its network and expand upon what it has already achieved.
